The Uttar Pradesh Combined Entrance Test (UPCET) is an entrance exam conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) for admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses in colleges and universities across Uttar Pradesh. The exam was previously known as UPSEE (Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination) and was conducted by Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU).

For successful completion of the application procedure, candidates are required to pay the application fees. The application fee is given in the table below:

Candidates can edit the application form from 1st to 3rd April 2023 for UPSEE through CUET UG and from 6th -8th May 2023 for CUET (PG). The applicant will be eligible for making the changes in the application form only after successful enrollment with the help of the link provided on the official website.

The admit card is the most crucial piece of documentation for any exam. No applicant will be permitted to access the testing location without a valid admit card. For the admit card to be downloaded, candidates must check in to the website.

The UPCET exam consists of multiple-choice questions and is offline. The exam lasts three hours, and the total number of questions varies depending on the course. Each correct answer carries four marks, and there is no negative marking for incorrect answers.
A detailed analysis of the exam pattern of CUET (UG) and CUET (PG) is as follows:
Mode of exam: The exam will be conducted in online CBT (Computer Based Test) mode.
Language: The paper will be conducted in Hindi & English (bilingual) languages except for Sahitya and language papers.
Number of Questions: An aggregate of 100 questions will be there in the CUET PG paper.
Marking scheme: 4 marks will be awarded for every right answer and candidates will lose 1 mark for every wrong answer.
The topics and portions from each qualifying degree will form the basis for the UPCET 2023 Syllabus. The UPCET syllabus for undergraduate studies will be determined by concepts from Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, or other acceptable courses.
The UPCET Syllabus for postgraduate studies will be determined by the corresponding graduation disciplines.

NTA has made the UPCET 2023 Result available on the official site. The authority will publish distinct merit lists for various courses depending on the candidate's performance. After the results are released, the authority will hold UPCET 2023 counselling. For every qualified and qualified candidates, there will be five rounds of counselling conducted online. The first session of counselling will begin in the third week of July 2023.
The seat allocation will be made public when the UPCET counselling phase is over, and candidates can access it.
