TJEE Latest Updates:
The TJEE Exam was conducted on 2nd May 2024 by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) as an offline Paper-Based-Test (PBT) and the results were announced on the 3rd of June 2024 through the official website of TBJEE - tbjee.nic.in.
Candidates can check their scores and rank cards by logging in using their credentials. Along with this TBJEE has also released the merit list which can be checked on the official website. The qualified candidates will now participate in the TBJEE counselling process to get admission to top B.Tech Courses in Tripura offered by the participating institutes.

TJEE Exam Overview - Full Form of TJEE
The full form of TJEE is the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination which is a state-level examination conducted by the Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination (TBJEE) for admission to various courses in Engineering, Agriculture Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Fishery Sciences, and similar degree courses.
Candidates seeking admission to Engineering/Technology courses [Group A] have to appear for Physics (P), Chemistry (C), and Mathematics (M), those seeking admission to Agriculture/Veterinary/Fishery need to appear for Physics, Chemistry, and Biology (B) [Group B], and those applying for both Technology and Science courses need to appear for all the four subjects [Group C]

TJEE Exam Dates and Schedule

TJEE Eligibility Criteria
Before applying for the TJEE Exam the candidates must be aware of the TJEE Eligibility criteria. The criteria are tabulated below for reference.
TJEE Application Form
The TJEE 2024 Application Form was released online on 7th Feb 2024 and was re-released on 7th March 2024. Candidates could fill out the form online and make corrections until 29th Feb 2024. To complete the online TJEE Application Form the candidates must follow the below procedure:
Registration
The first step to apply for the TJEE Exam is to register on the official website. Candidates can register themselves by visiting the official website - tbjee.nic.in. Below is the step-by-step process to register for the exam:
- Visit the website and click on ‘New User Registration’
- Enter the Email ID and Mobile Number, and verify the number via OTP
- Once registered, an Application Number will be generated. Save that for further communication
Log in to the Application Portal
After registering, the next step is to log in using the Application Number generated in the first step and the password. If required or necessary candidates may choose to change their password by clicking on the ‘Change Password’ link at the bottom.
Complete the Profile Page
After logging in the candidate will be redirected to the home page where they are required to fill out their basic details like Name, Gender, etc., and complete their profile. At this stage, the candidates will also be required to submit their documents listed below:
- A scanned Copy of the Photograph
- Scanned Copy of Signature
- Scanned Copy of BPL Certificate/Ration Card (If Applicable)
- Caste Certificate
- PwD Certificate from DDRC (If Applicable)
- Certificate from Rajya Sainik Board (If Applicable)
Document Uploading Guidelines
Candidates must upload the documents in the format specified below.
Once all these details are submitted, click on the ‘Apply Online’ option to proceed. It must be noted that without completing the profile the candidate will not be able to fill out the TJEE Application Form.
Fill Out the Application Form
As a next step, the candidate fills out the complete Application Form. Candidates must enter details like qualification, residency, previous application details (If any), and other information as asked. Once the form is filled, the candidate will submit the form after reviewing it.
Payment of TJEE Application Fee and Acknowledgement Print
The last and final step is to pay the TJEE Application Fee to confirm the application. Once the fee is paid, the candidate must take a printout of the application form for further use.
TJEE Admit Card
The TJEE Admit Card is an important document to be carried to the exam center and contains information like the exam center, exam date and time, candidate address, and more details.

To download the TJEE Admit Card, candidates must follow the below steps:
- Visit the official website - tbjee.nic.in
- Click on the direct download link for the TJEE Admit Card
- Enter the login credentials to view the admit card
- The Admit Card will be displayed on the screen
- Check the details and take a printout of the same for further reference and use

TJEE Exam Patten

- Know the syllabus: First and foremost to be well prepared for the examination is to be aware of the syllabus. Candidates can refer to the syllabus from the pdf link in this article.
- Prepare Notes: While studying, prepare notes and flashcards of all the important formulas, facts, and topics as it helps at the time of revision.
- Make a study plan: Candidates can prepare a timetable to evenly distribute time for each chapter and not leave any chapter for the last moment.
- Solve Mock Tests: Solve as many mock tests as possible and it helps to understand where you stand in your preparation. It will also help analyze how much time it takes to solve the questions, thus you can work on speed and develop problem-solving skills

TJEE Answer Key
The TJEE Answer Key was released on 7th May 2024 on the official website of TBJEE. Candidates could view the same by logging in using their credentials, such as application number and password. The answer key could also be challenged till May 15, 2024. The final answer key was released on 24th May 2024.
TJEE Result
The TJEE Result and the merit list were announced on 3rd June 2024. Candidates can view the same by logging in using their credentials. The scores can be checked either from the website or through SMS.
TJEE Counselling
The TJEE Counselling is expected to begin in either June or July 2024. The authorities have released no official dates at the moment. The counselling procedure consists of various steps including registration, fee payment, choice-filling, and final admission. It must be noted that the selection of college must be done in order of preference and the seats will be allotted based on the candidate’s ranks. The selected candidates must finalize their admission before the final due date, or else the seat allotment will be cancelled.
TJEE Counselling Documents Required
- TJEE 2024 admit card
- Admit card of madhyamik examination or equivalent/birth certificate as proof of age.
- Admit card of 10+2 examination or equivalent
- Class 10th marksheet or equivalent
- PRTC (not citizenship certificate)/ other certificates as proof of residency
- Caste (SC/ ST) certificate if applicable
- Physically (PH) handicapped certificate issued by the appropriate authority
- Certificate regarding the period of stay of candidate/father/mother for not less than five years in case of wards of ex-serviceman/ serving defence personnel, issued by the appropriate authority, where necessary.
- Ward of ex-serviceman certificate (from Rajya Sainik Board/Directorate of Sainik Welfare)
- Certificate showing the proof of serving defence personnel, issued by the appropriate authority where necessary
- Seat surrendered certificate from the concerned department, if applicable.
- BPL card from the appropriate authority where applicable.
