TS TET Age Limit Criteria:
TSTET has no age limit; applicants can take the exam at any age as long as they meet the educational qualification criteria. However, the lowest age limit is 18 years.
TS TET Educational Qualification:
The TS TET is taken for two papers: Paper 1 and Paper 2. The educational qualifications for TS TET Paper 1 and TS TET Paper 2 are provided below.
TS TET Educational Qualifications for Paper 1
TS TET Paper 1 is used to verify candidates' eligibility to teach in Telangana's primary schools (Classes 1 through 5). The candidates' educational qualifications for TSTET Paper 1 are as follows:
- Senior Secondary with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled students) and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education, 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd), or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education).
- Senior Secondary with preferably 45 per cent marks (40 per cent for SC/ST/BC/Differently-abled applicants) and pass in 2-year Diploma in Elementary Education or 4-year Bachelor of Elementary Education (BElEd) or 2-year Diploma in Education (Special Education) in case of applicants who have passed or admitted to the DElEd/DEd course before the issue of guidelines (23-Dec-2015).
- Graduate with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled applicants) and pass in Bachelor of Education (BEd)/ Bachelor of Education (Special Education).
TS TET Educational Qualifications for Paper 2.
The TS TET Paper 2 test is taken to verify applicants' eligibility to teach in Telangana's upper primary schools (Classes 6 to 8). The TS TET educational qualification is shown below for the candidates:
- BA/BSc/BCom with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled students) and pass in Bachelor of Education (BEd) or Bachelor of Education (BEd Special Education).
- BA/BSc/BCom with at least 50% marks (40 per cent for SC/ST/BC/Differently abled applicants) & pass in Bachelor of Education (BEd)/ Bachelor of Education (BEd Special Education) in case of applicants who have passed or admitted to BEd previous to the issuance of guidelines (23-Dec-2015).
Steps for Filling the TS TET Notification 2024 Application Form
Applicants can fill out the TS TET Online Application form using the processes outlined below.
Step 1: Candidates Registration
- To check eligibility for the TS TET Notification 2024, visit the official website at https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in/ and download the "Information Bulletin".
- Candidates must fill out all of the requirements before submitting their application costs, and they will be given a "Journal Number" that they can use to continue with the online application submission procedure.
Step 2: Online Submission of Application Form
- Click on the online application form.
- Candidates must provide their Journal Number, Date of Payment, and Date of Birth exactly as they did when they paid online.
- Check the box next to the declaration, enter the verification code (CAPTCHA), and then click Verify and Next.
Step 3: Documents to be uploaded
- Please fill out all of the essential fields in the application form when it opens. To upload a photo, choose the browse option and select the appropriate size.
- After hitting the "Submit" button, a pop-up box will appear with the message "Please ensure that all details are entered correctly. "After final submission, the application cannot be edited."
Step 4: Submit the Application Form.
- A Candidate ID will be generated, and an SMS will be issued to the registered mobile phone number.
- Download the application form for future reference.
TS TET Admit Card 2024
The Telangana state government will provide the TS TET admit card 2024 on its official website on May 15, 2024. On the day of the exam, aspirants must bring their TS TET admit cards to the examination centres. Those who are caught without their TS TET admission card will be denied the opportunity to take the exam. Candidates are advised to download the admit card and bring it to the exam centres.
