The PM Yasasvi Scholarship 2024 is a great step and initiative by the Government of India. It aims to open educational avenues for talented students from financially weaker sections. The NTA has begun the application process for the scholarship entrance exam for 2024. All qualified applicants are urged to register for the PM Yashasvi Scholarship program through the NTA's official website. The Prime Minister's Scholarship Award Programme for Young Achievers in India YASASVI is a scholarship program established by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment of the Government of India for all qualified students.
The government established the PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for a Vibrant India (YASASVI). This scholarship is only available to OBC, Nomadic and semi-nomadic tribes, and DNT. Students in the ninth and eleventh grades are offered scholarships at two separate levels. This scholarship program is only available to Indian students from the specific state/union territory to whom the applicant belongs or where she/he resides. A written examination known as the YASASVI ENTRANCE TEST 2024 will be used to select scholarship applicants.
EBC and DNT students can submit application for the Top-Class School Education and Top-Class College Education programs. It can be done through the National Scholarship Portal. The objective of these scholarships is to assist students so that they can continue their education beyond pre-secondary school.
PM YASASVI will provide necessary assistance in empowering children from economically and financially poor backgrounds, ensure equal access to education, and foster a brighter future for India's youth. The PM Young Achievers Scholarship Award Scheme for Vibrant India (PM-YASASVI) 2023 will be granted solely on merit, without the use of an entrance exam. The PM YASASVI Scholarship is for students in grades 9 through 12. The scholarship provides financial help of Rs 75,000 to students in Classes 9 to 12, and Rs 1.5 lakh to students in Classes 11 and 12. The major highlights of the scheme are tabulated below:

The following are the important things that students must know:
Note 01: If the institution discovers that the number of eligible candidates in the first year is less than the number of slots allotted to it, the balance slots may be offered to eligible students studying in the second, third, and fourth years, etc. on the basis of inter-se merit of previous year's results, giving priority to those with a greater number of years left to complete their respective course, i.e. second-year students are to be given priority over third-year students and soon.
Note 02: 30% of the spaces assigned to the institution will be reserved for qualified female students based on their inter-se excellence. In the lack of a sufficient number of female students, the places may be reallocated to eligible boys students as per their inter-se merit.
Note 03: The 30% seats specified above, however, will not include those girl students who are selected based on their performance in the Institution's overall merit list of OBC/EBC/DNT students, as applicable.
Note 04: If the student is not promoted to the next semester/class, his or her scholarship will be terminated.
Note 05: Because the fund is primarily designated for OBCs, preference will be given to OBC students when examining the plan.
Note 06: In case, the number of eligible students admitted goes beyond the number of slots available at the institution, the scholarship will be limited to the leading students. It will be facilitated on the inter-se merit list on the basis of the course's entrance parameters. However, if more than one student has similar marks for the last vacant spot in an institution, the student with the lowest family income should be prioritized. The remaining students in the OBC/EBC/DNT category admitted to the institution will be eligible for the Post-Matric Scholarship (PMS) offered by this Ministry through State Governments/UT Administrations, assuming they are otherwise eligible under the scheme.

The primary objectives of the PM Yasasvi Scholarship are:
The scholarship's objective is to understand and promote valuable education among students. Students from the OBC, EBC, and DNT categories are greatly benefitted as they complete complete financial support. The Scheme will help OBC/EBC/DNT kids who want to continue courses after Class XII.
The Scheme will cover all institutions notified by the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment beginning with the fiscal year 2021-22.Once awarded, the scholarship will be valid till the student completes the course, subject to good performance. Students are expected to apply for scholarships every year, including renewals.
Recipients of the PM Yasasvi Scholarship are entitled to several benefits, including:
OBC/EBC/DNT students admitted to notified institutions will receive scholarships. In order to pay for tuition fees and non-refundable charges (with a maximum of INR 2.00 lakhs per year for private sector institutions and ₹3.72 lakhs for private sector flying clubs for Commercial Pilot Training and Type Rating Courses), it will be facilitated. Also, Living expenses for the beneficiary are INR 3,000/- per month per student. Books and stationery cost INR 5,000/- per year per student. Students can also get a good brand computer/laptop with equipment like UPS and printer for ₹45,000/- as a one-time course help. There are important notes that students must keep in mind:
Note 01: The scholarship will be payable immediately after a student has been admitted and begins attending school.
Note 02: The Central Government will give tuition fees and other non-refundable expenses. This will be carried out directly to the university using Direct Benefit Transfer.
Note 03: In the same way, the Central Government will give the student directly for living expenses, books and stationery, and computer/laptop with accessories via Direct Benefit Transfer.
The scholarship provides a substantial amount to aid the eligible students, depending on which class they are enrolled:
STEP 1. Go to the Authority's official website, yet.nta.ac.in, and follow the Registration 2024 Link.
STEP 2. After you click the Register button, a new page called Candidate Registration Page will open in front of you.
STEP 3. On the candidate registration screen, mention the applicant's name, email address, date of birth (D.O.B). Also mention password before clicking the Create Account button. Eventually, keep of the system-generated Application Number.
STEP 4. After the successful enrollment, the candidate can apply for one of the scholarship programs available.
STEP 5. After successfully signing in, candidates should proceed to the portal's YASASVI test registration page to register for the exam.
STEP 6. Fill out all of the essential information and submit all necessary papers.
