PGDM-C: Financial Aid

MICA offers financial aid to students who face economic challenges. However, one who wants to take financial aid will have to make sure to have the below-mentioned criterion:-

  • The family income must not exceed INR 10 LPA.
  • The student must have an academic performance of a minimum 3 CGPA and an attendance record of at least 80% in their first year.
  • The documents should include the IT returns as well as the bank statements of all the family members of the last 3 years.
  • Application for Scholarship. An individual application must be submitted if one is applying for an Equity scholarship.
  • The maximum number of scholarships that will be awarded are between 25-27 annually.
  • The scholarship shall be awarded between 25-100% of the tuition fees per student.
  • In addition, one or two PGP-1 students may be sponsored by Prof. Bikram Bindra, an adjunct faculty member at MICA, up to Rs. 5 lakh. 
  • The scholarships awarded by Professor Bindra will be referred to as the "Equity Scholarship" and will be available to PGP-1 students who identify as members of a minority group due to their ability, gender identity, sexual orientation, or religion.

PGDM-Communication: Selection Process

The selection process for the PGDM-C scholarship is mentioned below:-

  • Students receive a notification and an announcement asking them to apply.
  • preliminary review of applications and financial records by the established criteria.
  • Interview and discussion with the students who made the shortlist by the MICA professor and staff-led Scholarships Committee.
  • recommendations made by students who were chosen by the committee.
  • Notification in writing to the last students chosen.
