OTET Admit Card 2024: Overview

The Board of Secondary Education, Odisha conducts OTET Exam every year. The full form of OTET is Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET). The board will release OTET Hall Ticket on 2 August 2024. Candidates who have registered themselves for the Teacher Eligibility Test i.e. OTET 2024 for Paper 1 and Paper 2 can download their admit card from the official website. The official website of OTET is https://bseodisha.ac.in/. 

OTET Exam 2024 will be conducted on 9 August 2024. 

 

The registration window for OTET 2024 was open from 24 June to 5 July and now stands closed. The application fees of OTET is INR 500 for general and OBC category candidates and INR 300 for reserved category candidates.

OTET Admit Card 2024: OTET Exam Fees

OTET exam fees are tabulated below:

The candidate can register on the website and fill the application form. The candidate must check the step by step instructions for online registration, guidelines containing applicability, eligibility and qualifying criteria of the candidates, syllabus and its structure, and format for continuing certificate on the website.

The Examination will be conducted on 9 August 2024. Below are the timings the exam will be conducted in:

  • OTET Paper I Timing - 9:00am to 11:30am
  • OTET Paper II Timing -  2:00pm to 4:30pm

OTET Admit Card 2024: How to Download OTET Admit Card 2024?

OTET Hall Ticket will be released on 2 August 2024 on the official website - www.bseodisha.ac.in. Below mentioned are the steps to download OTET admit card:

  • Visit the official website of OTET i.e. Board of Secondary Education, Odisha - www.bseodisha.ac.in.
  • Navigate to and click the ‘Latest Updates’ section.
  • Click on OTET Admit Card 2024 Link on the website.
  • Click on the link to a login page.
  • Select Paper1 or Paper2/ Both Papers.
  • Enter the login credentials.
  • The screen displays OTET Hall Ticket 2024.
  • Download the admit card and take a printout of it for future reference.

Note* Candidates must take the hall ticket of OTET to the examination hall as they will not be allowed to enter the examination hall without it. Additionally, they must make sure that the details mentioned on their admit card are correct since any incorrect detail may lead to the cancelation of their candidature.

OTET Admit Card 2024: OTET Exam Eligibility 

All the candidates who possess the minimum eligibility criteria as defined by the Board of Secondary Education, Odisha. Candidates who are appearing in Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test 2024 must go through these eligibility criteria before applying for the exam:

Paper 2

A candidate must have passed the Plus Two exam with any stream, and he or she has completed a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

One must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree from a UGC recognised university, and he or she has pursued a two-year Diploma in Elementary Education.

One must have passed the Intermediate exam with Science, Commerce or Arts stream, additionally, he or she has pursued four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.

A candidate must have completed a Bachelor’s degree, and he or she also has completed a two-year Bachelor’s of Education.

An applicant must have pursued a Bachelor’s degree and he or she has pursued a four-year Bachelor’s of Elementary Education.

–

A candidate must have passed the Intermediate exam, and he or she must have completed four-year Bachelor’s of Arts/Science & Bachelor’s of Education, which is also known as Integrated Teacher Education Programme.

OTET Admit Card 2024: OTET 2024 Examination Schedule

August 9, 2024, is the scheduled date of the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Test (OTET) 2024 Examination. The formal notice issued on June 21, 2024, made reference to this day. There are two papers in this exam: Paper 1 is for candidates who want to teach in classes I through V, and Paper 2 is for candidates who want to teach in classes VI through VIII. Exam schedules for both papers are available here, as shown in the table below.

OTET Admit Card 2024: Guidelines for OTET Exam Day in 2024 
 

Below are some key suggestions for the Odisha Teacher Eligibility Criteria 2024 exam day.

  • It is required of candidates to report to the exam center of their choice at least one hour prior to the exam start time.
  • It is completely forbidden to bring calculators, cell phones, or any other electronic device into the test room.
