The exam will be conducted in offline mode for 2 hours. The exam will contain a total of 120 questions. All the questions will be in Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). There is a negative marking scheme. The marking system is discussed below. The question paper will be in English only. The exam is for 1000 marks.

The marking scheme is based on NIMCET marks distribution. Marks are allotted as per the rules of negative marking set by the authorities. Candidates will have to keep note of the scheme and prepare and plan accordingly. The scheme is discussed in the points below.

When it comes to entrance exam preparation, starting early provides the candidate an advantage and boosts their confidence. In order to assist students prepare for the exam nicely, we would like to provide some helpful advice.
Candidates must bring royal blue/black ballpoint pens to the NIMCET test centres 2024 in order to answer the questions on the OMR sheet.
Each NIMCET 2024 question will have four answers. If rough work was required, it had to be done in the exam booklet itself. The use of stray markings on the OMR sheet is absolutely banned.
Candidates are recommended not to try the questions if their answers are in doubt. An incomplete response receives a mark of 0, whereas an incorrect response loses one mark.
