As previously stated, the NEET PG 2023 result will be used to fill 50% of the All India Quota seats as well as state quota seats. MCC will handle admissions for AIQ seats, while state authorities will handle admissions for state quota seats. The following sections discuss the two types of NEET PG results:
The NBE will release the NEET PG result 2023 for AIQ seats in PDF format. The result was only made available to candidates who met the NEET PG 2023 eligibility criteria established by the NBE. The DGHS will conduct NEET PG counselling 2023 on behalf of MCC for 50% AIQ seats and 100% deemed, central, ESIC, and AFMS seats. Admission will be granted based on the NEET PG result, AIQ rank, marks earned, choices made, reservation criteria, and number of available seats. The NEET PG cutoff for 50% AIQ and 100% deemed and central university seats, AFMS, and ESIC is the same as the NBE's minimum qualifying percentile.
The NEET PG 2023 results will be used by state authorities to determine admission to state quota seats. No state government will hold a separate entrance exam for MD/MS/PG Diploma programmes. The counselling for state PG medical admission will be conducted based on the NEET PG result 2023, state merit rank, reservation criteria, choices filled, number of seats, and other factors. Candidates must pass the NEET PG 2023 exam and meet the respective state eligibility criteria to be admitted under the state quota.
NBE will release the candidate's various ranks when the NEET PG result 2023 is released. These ranks will be assigned based on NEET PG scores and reservation criteria. The following are the various ranks based on NEET PG results:
NEET PG Counselling is held for about 26,188 MD seats, 13,649 MS seats, 1,979 PG Diploma seats, and 1326 DNB CET seats. NEET PG Counselling 2023 will be held by MCC for 50% AIQ and 100% Deemed & Central Universities, AFMS, and ESIC seats. The respective state authorities will conduct NEET PG 2023 counselling for 100% private universities, 85% state quota seats, and minority institutes.
