NTA is all set to conduct JEE Main 2022 June Session from 20th June to 29th June and students who have registered themselves for the exam have geared up their preparation. Candidates must have completed the syllabus of JEE Main by now as there are only a few days left for the exam. Nonetheless, in order to score good in the Joint Entrance Examination Main, candidates must focus on the sections that they find most difficult. Physics is generally considered the toughest of all the sections and it is very important for students to possess an in-depth understanding of the subject. Candidates must complete the entire syllabus of Physics and keep revising its topics on a frequent interval.
Below mentioned are some of the most important topics of Physics for JEE Main that have contributed to the most questions in previous year question papers of JEE Main Exam. These topics have been categorized into two types i.e. High Weightage Topics and Low Weightage Topics.
In the JEE Main Question Paper, there are 30 questions asked in the Physics Section. Out of these 30 questions, 20 are of MCQ Type and 10 are numerical questions. Out of the 10 numerical questions, 5 questions are compulsory and must be answered.
Candidates taking the exam must make themselves familiar with several topics related to Physical Quantities. Make a list of all the units used in the books.
Candidates must pay special attention to the topics that are mentioned in JEE Main 2022 Syllabus but not topics like Semiconductor Devices, Electromagnetic Waves, Communication Systems, etc. as these topics hold the lowest weightage.
Questions from these above mentioned topics are often straightforward, simple and require less preparation.
Candidates must do some extra reading which will help them improve their score significantly. The information about these topics in NCERT Books is sufficient if read thoroughly.
Those taking the exam must possess a good command on ‘Vector Treatment’ wherever required.
