Its basis lies in the NEET scores and ranks obtained by the candidates.
For registration to MCC NEET counseling, candidates should visit the official website and follow the registration process. They will have to provide their credentials (NEET roll number, application number). The registration process takes place online.
The eligibility criteria for MCC NEET counseling depend on factors such as nationality, educational qualification, NEET score etc.
The documents required for MCC NEET counseling include NEET admit card, NEET score, class 10 mark sheet, class 12 mark sheets, category certificate (if applicable), identity proof, and other required documents. The exact list of documents will be mentioned in the counseling information brochure.
The MCC conducts multiple counseling rounds for NEET. The exact number of rounds vary every year. Usually, there are two or three rounds, followed by a mop-up round, if seats remain vacant.
Seat allotment in MCC NEET counseling is determined by the candidate’s NEET rank, choices submitted, and availability of seats. The MCC follows a merit-cum-preference approach to allocate seats. Seat allotment is done to the candidates in the order of their rank and the choices filled by them during the counseling process.
It depends on the rules and regulations set by the MCC and respective state. Some states allow candidates for participating in both state counseling and MCC counseling, while others have certain restrictions.
All India Quota (AIQ) refers to the seats available in dental and medical government colleges across India, excluding the state quota seats. The MCC holds counseling for AIQ seats. State Quota is the seats reserved for candidates who are residents of a particular state. State counseling authorities manage the counseling process for state quota seats.
