Management Aptitude Test also known as MAT, is a management entrance examination conducted at the national level since 1988 and the test is being administered to shortlist candidates for admission to management and allied programs. All India Management Association (AIMA) is the conducting authority of MAT Examination and has been conducting the exam since 1988.

The exam fee for the December MAT 2023 is Rs. 1950/- for a single MAT exam and Rs. 3100/- for two MAT exams. Candidates have the flexibility to choose whether they want to appear for one MAT exam or two MAT exams and pay the respective exam fee accordingly. MAT 2023 offers multiple testing modes, including CBT, IBT, and PBT. In addition to the CBT and PBT MAT exam modes, AIMA also conducts the Remote Proctored Internet Based Test (IBT) for MAT 2023. The exam fee for appearing in one MAT exam in any of the three testing modes is Rs. 1950/-, and for those opting to take two MAT exams, the fee is Rs. 3100/-.Candidates can opt to take one or both MAT exams in the same mode or different modes by paying the required MAT exam fee. Below are the details of the increase in the exam fee compared to the earlier fee structure.
The payment mode for the MAT exam 2023 is online. Candidates can make the MAT exam fee payment using Credit Card, Debit Card (ATM Card), or Net Banking. The deadline for paying the MAT 2023 exam fee coincides with the last date to apply for the respective mode of the MAT exam.
For added convenience, candidates have the option to appear for the IBT-MAT from the comfort of their homes, eliminating the need to visit an exam center. MAT registration dates are open for IBT MAT, CBT MAT, and PBT MAT, each with a separate MAT exam fee

Candidates have the option to pay the MAT exam fee online through the official AIMA MAT Sept 2023 website. The accepted payment methods include Credit Card, Debit Card (ATM Card), Net Banking, UPI, and Paytm wallet. Below are the MAT exam fee details for different modes of the MAT exam.

Candidates have the option to choose two IBT exams by paying an additional fee of Rs. 1150/- on top of the Rs. 1950/- for a single IBT exam. For those opting for the PBT MAT, the fee is Rs. 1950/-.
Candidates who choose the double IBT tests will gain the advantage of selecting an additional 2 Management Institutes to send their scores, in addition to the existing option of selecting 5 Management Institutes. In total, they can select 7 Management Institutes.

AIMA has discontinued the option for MAT exam fee payment via Bank draft, which was available in the past. Currently, there is no provision for MAT exam fee payment through Demand Draft.
