Maharashtra State CET Cell will conduct Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 for 85% State Quota Seats. MCC is conducting NEET 2023 Counselling for MBBS/ BDS/ B.Sc Nursing for 15% AIQ Seats. Soon after the announcement of the NEET 2023 Result, the Maharashtra NEET 2023 Seat Matrix for MBBS/ BDS admissions will be available at cetcell.net.in.

  • Candidates who have obtained the minimum qualifying NEET 2023 Cutoff score are eligible to participate in Maharashtra NEET Counselling.
  • The Maharashtra state cell would provide around 9000 and 3526 seats in MBBS and BDS programmes, respectively.
  • Byramjee Jeejeebhoy Government Medical College accepted the closing rank of 7296 for general category candidates in the 2021 session.
  • Furthermore, only candidates who have completed Class 10 or equivalent from a Maharashtra-based school are eligible for counselling.
  • The Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 will additionally include courses in BAMS/BHMS/BUMS (Group B) and BPTH/BOTH/BASLP/BP&O (Group C).

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023: Eligibility Criteria

Before beginning the registration procedure, candidates should determine whether they meet the eligibility criteria listed below or not:

  • Candidates must have passed NEET 2023.
  • The candidate must be an Indian citizen.
  • A valid domicile certificate proving that the candidate is from the state of Maharashtra is required.
  • Candidates who have completed Class 10 or equivalent from a Maharashtra-based institute are eligible for counselling.
  • Candidates who qualified for the 10th class outside of Maharashtra but passed the 12th class in Maharashtra must provide a domicile certificate.
  • Candidates must have completed the 10+2 level.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023: Registration Process

Applicants can register for the Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 procedure by visiting the official website of the State Common Entrance Test Cell of Maharashtra.

Fill Registration Form

  • Go to cetcell.net.in, the official website of Maharashtra's state CET cell.
  • Click the "New Registration" button.
  • Read all of the relevant instructions before beginning to fill out the online application form.
  • After completing the Online Registration form, a candidate must press the submit button; only his or her form will be provisionally accepted in the process.
  • The registration form cannot be modified once it has been submitted.

Payment of Fee

  • Only after successfully paying the money will an applicant be deemed registered for the admission process.
  • Only after receiving bank payment will the form be considered genuine.
  • Payments made are not refundable.

The following is the technique for uploading scanned documents:

  • Candidates must upload their documents in accordance with the rules and must produce all supplied documents in original form during the document verification procedure.
  • Original documents must be scanned in colour and uploaded by candidates.
  • Document photocopies should not be submitted.
  • The Document must be smaller than 300 KB in size.
  • The document must only be uploaded in PDF format.
  • The uploaded documents will be e-verified, and any problems will be sent to the candidate by his/her login and SMS.
  • Take a print of the Registration Form.

Candidates must make the payment of application fee for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023 at the time of registration. Below mentioned is the application fee for students all the quotas applicable.

Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023: Seat Allotment

After the completion of the online registration process for Maharashtra NEET Counselling 2023, the counselling conducting body will release a provisional merit list. It will consist of the name of the candidates who successfully conclude the registration process along with the verification process.

State Merit List

  • The provisional merit list is made available and it contains the names of the candidates who successfully registered for the counselling process.
  • Based on this list, candidates can proceed with the choice filling process and complete it.

Choice Filling

  • In choice filling process, candidates are required to enter their preferences for both courses and colleges They must enter their login credentials on their official account on the website in order to lock their choices.
  • They will not be allowed to make changes in their preferences later on.

Seat Allotment

  • After the above-mentioned process is completed, a list of seat allotments will be officially released by the counselling conducting authority.
  • Based on the preferences made by candidates and the ranks from the state merit list, candidates are allotted seats for the verification process.
  • During the last round of the process, candidates must report to their allotted institute on or before the last date defined by the concerned authority.

Document Verification

  • Candidates must report to the allotted institute to complete the verification round. They must also bring along their documents, original as well as photocopy.
  • In order to complete the last round, candidates must reach the venue in the given time.
