National Overseas Scholarship for Minority Community Students, Karnataka 

The scholarship, which is administered by the Directorate of Minorities of the Government of Karnataka, is open to Karnataka-based graduates, postgraduates, and PhD researchers who are also members of the minority community. Selected students under this scholarship may receive financial aid of up to ₹20 lakh for up to two years to pursue higher education abroad.

Overseas Scholarships for SC/ST Students, Karnataka

This Karnataka scholarship plan is intended for Karnataka students who are SC/ST who wish to pursue master's and PhD studies overseas. The project, which is run by the Karnataka government's Social Welfare Department, provides up to 100% financial help to chosen students studying overseas.

Research Guidance: PhD Fellowship for Backward Classes, Karnataka

Are you interested in pursuing a full-time PhD programme in language, seminars, sociology, science and technology, agricultural and allied sciences, technical and medical sciences, or commerce and management? If so, the Department of Backward Classes Welfare, Government of Karnataka, offers a system that can assist you in obtaining relevant research guidance. Incentive for SSLC and 2nd PUC Students, Karnataka

The Minority Welfare Department, Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka runs this incentive initiative to assist students from the minority community. Students who passed class 10 (SSLC) and class 12 (2nd PUC) with 85% or above marks in examinations held by the Karnataka Secondary Education Examination Board or the Department of Pre-University Education can benefit from this scholarship. Students in Classes 1–10 who scored 50% or higher on the previous examination are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship covers the entry, tuition, and maintenance costs.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka

This Karnataka scholarship intends to encourage and provide financial aid to students from the state's minority communities so that they can continue their studies beyond the matriculation level. The scholarship is primarily intended for students from communities such as Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Parsis, and Jains. It typically covers the admission cost, maintenance allowance, and tuition fee. Students in Classes 11 through PhD are eligible to apply for this award.

MPhil and PhD Fellowship for Minority Students, Karnataka

The Karnataka government has introduced a system to provide financial help to the state's minority communities. This fellowship is open to students from the Muslim, Christian, Sikh, Buddhist, and Parsi communities who want to pursue an MPhil or PhD degree.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka

This is a popular scholarship for students from minority populations who want to pursue a professional or technical education. The Directorate of Minorities, Government of Karnataka, grants a scholarship worth up to ₹30,000 to students who scored more than 50% in their previous exam and have an annual family income of less than ₹2.5 lakh.

Samagra Shikshana Karnataka Fellowship

This fellowship programme is run by the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka, and is open to students with a postgraduate/professional/any other degree in Social Sciences or Public Policy and 3 to 10 years of relevant work experience. Selected fellows will receive a monthly stipend of ₹70,000 for the fellowship period.

  • Students from the Minority community (Muslims, Christians, Jains, Buddhists, Sikhs, and Parsis) can apply for this award.
  • The fellowship applies to master's, doctoral, and postdoctoral degrees.
  • Your age should not be more than 38 years at the start of the course.
  • The marks obtained in the last degree should be 60% or equivalent grade.
  • Scholarships only apply to specific courses.

Award

  • Scholarships of up to ₹20 Lakh each year (for 2 years) cover study fees, living expenses, and one side flight.

Overseas Scholarships for SC/ST Students, Karnataka

  • Students belonging to the SC or ST community can apply.
  • Students should have an admission letter for postgraduate or higher degrees from any reputable university in the world.
  • This scholarship covers the following areas of study: Humanities, Pure Sciences & Applied Sciences, International Commerce, Agriculture Sciences & Medicines, Engineering & Management, Social Science & Law, Accounting Finance, and so on.
  • The applicant's marks in the preceding degree should be 60% or comparable grade.
  • Candidates must be under 35 years old by June 1st of each year.

Research Guidance: PhD Fellowship for Backward Classes, Karnataka

  • Candidates enrolled in a full-time PhD programme with research guidance from a university or institution in Karnataka can apply.
  • The minimum percentage of marks gained in the master's degree programme is 55%.
  • The age of the applicant should not surpass 35.
  • Applicant must meet the specified income

  • You must belong to the minority community (Muslims, Christians, Buddhists, Jains, Parsis, and Sikhs).
  • Requirements: Class 10 or 12 with 85% or higher marks.

  • A one-time reward of ₹10,000 for SSLC students and ₹20,000 for second PUC students.

Pre-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka

  • The scheme is applicable to minority community students..
  • The percentage of marks gained by the student in the preceding yearly examination must be more than 50%. (Not appropriate for students in first grade.)
  • Students who are domiciles of Karnataka but studying in another state can apply.
  • Students from other states who study in Karnataka cannot apply.
  • The applicant's family income should not exceed ₹1 lakh from all sources.

Post-Matric Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka

  • Only minority community students may apply.
  • Students from class 11th to PhD level can apply.
  • The marks obtained in the prior qualifying examination must be 50% or higher.
  • The annual household income should not exceed ₹2.5 Lakh.
  • Students pursuing studies via correspondence or certificate/training level courses cannot qualify.
  • Students from other states who study in Karnataka are not eligible to apply.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarship for Minorities, Karnataka

  • It applies only to minority community pupils.
  • To be eligible, students must be pursuing a professional/technical degree and have a minimum of 50% on their last test.
  • Annual family income from all sources shouldn't exceed ₹2.5 lakh

  • Proficiency in English and Kannada is a necessity.
  • The student should have outstanding written, verbal, and presentation skills.
