The JEE Main 2024 syllabus for Chemistry includes majorly Class 11th and 12th Chemistry as directed by NTA. Topics include Basic concepts in Chemistry, Atomic Structure, Chemical Thermodynamics, Redox Reactions, electrochemistry, d and f block elements, etc. among many others. The syllabus covers 28 units in total.

The JEE Main 2024 syllabus for Chemistry is divided into 3 main sections - Physical, Organic & Inorganic Chemistry. As per last year's analysis and reports Inorganic Chemistry holds the highest weightage of 37%, followed by by organic chemistry with 30%, and physical chemistry with just 13% weightage in the exam.

The chemistry syllabus for JEE Main covers widely 28 units and 3 major sections - Physical, Organic and Inorganic Chemistry. The most important chapters include Chemical Bonding, Electrochemistry, Salt Analysis, Thermodynamics, etc. among many others.
No. The syllabus for both these exams is different. A few topics have been deleted for Mains, but they are still in the advanced syllabus.
