The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has recently released its academic calendar for the year 2019 and the Registration process of some of the important exams like IBPS PO 2019, IBPS Clerk 2020 and IBPS RRB 2019 and thousands of students are gearing up to take these examinations. A person handling the position of clerk in a bank is often called as “Single Window Operator” as he is responsible for everyday office and accounts related issues in bank. Other than the mentioned responsibilities the clerk also needs to take care of below mentioned activities in the bank:
A bank clerk receives a decent salary along with other perks and allowances to work at his post. The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) ensures the promotion of the recruits from the post of a clerk to officer in one year based on the performance of the candidates in the tenure. Candidates are advised to appear for exams like JAIIB (Junior Associate of the Indian Institute of Bankers) and CAIIB (Certified Association of the Indian Institute of Bankers) which will increase the chances of promotions in shortest of time.
