The eligibility criteria for GCET 2023 will be published on the official website by the exam authorities. Candidates must check the GCET 2023 eligibility criteria before submitting their application forms. Under the GCET eligibility criteria 2023, candidates must adhere to the following parameters:
Candidates must have passed the Higher Secondary School Certificate Examination or an equivalent examination with English, Physics, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects, as well as one of the following subjects - Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology, and must have obtained a minimum of 45% in Physics and Mathematics, as well as one of the following subjects - Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
The GCET application form 2023 will be available online for candidates to complete. To check the GCET 2023 result, follow the steps outlined below.
The GCET 2023 counselling will be released by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE) Goa following the announcement of the results on the GCET official website. Applicants must first complete the GCET counselling registration 2023 before making their selections. Candidates who pass the exam will be invited to GCET counseling in 2023, based on the GCET merit list.
The GCET 2023 will be a pen-and-paper exam. The GCET 2023 exam pattern will be made available online.
The Goa Common Entrance Test (GCET) is administered by the Directorate of Technical Education in Goa.
DTE Goa administers the Goa Common Entrance Test for undergraduate engineering and pharmacy admissions in Goa.
The exam duration for GCET is two hours.
A candidate must have passed the 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from the Goa Board, CBSE, or another equivalent board. Candidates must have completed Physics and Mathematics as mandatory subjects, as well as one of the following: Chemistry/Bio-Technology/Computer Science/Biology.
The GCET 2023 entrance exam will be divided into three parts: physics, chemistry, and mathematics. The candidate will have two hours to complete the question paper for each of the three segments.
Engineering and Pharmacy courses in Goa CET 2023 have no age limit.
The total number of marks available for the GCET is 225, with each section lasting two hours.
