WBPSC Food SI Eligibility

- The candidate must be a citizen of India (either natural or by registration), or Such other nationals as declared eligible by the Govt. of India.
- The candidate must have good health and character and suitability in all respects for appointment to Government service.
- Educational Qualification: Candidate must pass the Madhyamik Examination of the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education or its equivalent. Ability to read, write, and speak in Bengali/Nepali. (Not required for those whose mother tongue is Nepali)
- Age Limit: The candidate must not be below 18 years but not more than 40 years as of 01.01.2023. Age as recorded only in the Madhyamik or equivalent certificate will be accepted.

The candidate will be selected through a written examination and personality test. The written test comprises of MCQ questions designed to analyze a candidate's knowledge in General Studies and Arithmetic. Those who clear the written test will be then called for the interview round where candidates are assessed on the communication skills, overall personality, and their knowledge of the subject. The final merit list will be prepared based on the candidate's performance in both rounds and will be published on the WBPSC website.
