In the pursuit of higher education many deserving students are hindered by financial constraints. FAEA believes in education for a just, productive and cultured society. It emphasizes equality of opportunity. It helps students to pursue what they want to be so that they have a choice and not forced by necessity. To address this issue FAEA has launched FAEA Scholarship. This scholarship is for students who have passed Class 12 and are pursuing their undergraduate courses in Arts, Commerce, Science, Engineering and other technical and professional courses across India. A total of 50 selected candidates will receive tuition fees, maintenance allowance or hostel/mess charges, and other allowances.
The Foundation for Academic Excellence and Access (FAEA) is dedicated to promoting equal access to higher education, particularly for students from underprivileged backgrounds.
The FAEA Foundation scholarship is committed to the idea of education as a means of building a just, economic, and cultured society. Undergraduate research carried out within India's boundaries is the target audience for the FAEA scholarship.
Any recognized Indian college that awards a degree upon course completion is open to FAEA scholars. The amount of the FAEA scholarship may change. FAEA support may be awarded to a scholar for a maximum of five years, subject to financial availability.

50 students will be awarded with financial assistance for undergraduate courses which includes tuition fees, maintenance allowance or hostel/mess charges and other allowances for travel, clothing and book purchase as per norms.
Continuation and amount of the scholarship is however subject to good academic performance and funding availability.

To apply for the scholarship, follow the below steps: -
Step 1: Go to the Official Site faeaindia.org.
Step 2: Click the Register button and fill the registration form. (Note: - If already registered, log in using Gmail/Mobile number/Email ID)
Step 3: Click on the Click here to fill Online Application for FAEA 2024-25 Scholarship link on the left side of the page under the Announcement section.
Step 4: Go to the Fresh Candidate Click Here to Register tab and click on it.
Step 5: Fill the form and submit.
Step 6: After registration click on the Registered Candidates Click Here to Complete Process tab.
Step 7: Fill the form, upload documents (if any) and submit.
One benefit of an FAEA award is a tuition fee. FAEA will only ever cover the costs of free seats; purchased seats will never be reimbursed. The following is a list of the actions that must be taken:-
Enclose a certificate of purchase. The principle, dean, or director of the college or institute where the FAEA scholars are admitted must sign and certify the fee certificate. Included should be all fees that are due in a single academic year. Students attending two-semester colleges are recommended to request a breakdown of the expenditures related to each semester from the institution. It is reasonable to request an explanation of the fee schedule from the college.
This check list is provided to you to ensure that you send all the documents required. Please tick the documents that you are sending as specified below.
1. Copy of grant letter signed by you (Compulsory only for New Scholars).
2. Class X mark sheet attested by college/school Principal. (Compulsory only for New Scholars)
3. Class XII mark sheet attested by your college/school Principal.(Compulsory only for New Scholars)
4. Attested photocopy of your BPL Card/BPL Certificate.(Compulsory only for New Scholars)
5. Attested photocopy of Latest Income certificate, issued by the authorized Govt. Agency/department. (Compulsory only for New Scholars)
6. Attested photocopy of Certificate of Caste, in case if you have declared SC/ST or OBCs in your application form, issued by the authorized Govt. Agency/department. (Compulsory only for New Scholars)
7. Scholarship Declaration letter signed by the student and duly attested by your college Principal. (Mention Any Kind of Financial Help (with amount) you are getting from College/Government/any other agency). To be submitted at the beginning of each academic
8. Scholarship Recommendation Letter signed by the student and duly attested by your college Principal.(Mention that you have been promoted to next class with good percentage, Performance) To be submitted at the beginning of each academic year (To be filled only by old scholars)
9. Certificate of expenditure (Fee And Hostel & Mess) issued by your college principal or A certificate of expenditure prepared by you and attested by the Principal (Ref. Format 1 and 2). In Case of Non Hostellers, Students are required to submit a Non Hosteller Certificate issued by the College. (This certificate of expenditure should contain all expenses payable in the session of 2019.
10. Permanent mailing address form filled in completely by you. (To be submitted by old scholars at the beginning of each academic year if there is any updation)

12. College details form filled in completely by you. (To be submitted by old scholars at the beginning of each academic year if there is any updation)

14. 2 passport size photographs. (Please write your Confirmation Code and Name at the back of the photo) (Compulsory only for New Scholars)
15. Bank details form filled in completely by you. (To be submitted by scholars at the beginning of each academic year if there is any updation)
16. Send Scanned Copy of your Photograph With Confirmation Code and Name on inquiry@faeaindia.org (Only for New Scholars and those who have not sent their scanned photographs).
17. Self attested copy of Aadhar Card/College Id Proof/Voter Id/any photo Id Proof (Only for New Scholars and those who have not submitted earlier). Submission of Aadhar Card is compulsory for all applicants.
FAEA scholars may postpone or defer their scholarship for a year under two circumstances:
There can be only one postponement during the scholarship period. FAEA scholars are required to submit a written application to FAEA along with their reasons for a postponement; applications are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
Deferments, also known as postponements, are permitted once for a maximum of one year. A request for a postponement may be made for private reasons, such as a serious illness in the fellow's family, their own, or poor circumstances in the scholar's home state. Requests for deferments must be sent to the FAEA headquarters in New Delhi together with any necessary documentation.
