Career in politics
He was elected as an MLA for the first time, representing the Ramganj Mandi constituency, in the 2018 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election. This election was won by him by a total of 12,879 votes.
He was re-elected as an MLA from the Ramganj Mandi constituency after the 2023 Rajasthan Legislative Assembly election, defeating the Indian National Congress (INC) candidate Mahendra Rajoriya by a margin of 18,422 votes.

Looking ahead, the Education Minister of Rajasthan envisages a picture of a more inclusive, equitable, and quality-driven education. The key features of this vision are as follows:
