The important documents required for JEE Main 2025 registration are mentioned in this article. The JEE Main application for Session 2 will begin in February 2025. Photograph Requirements:

  • Recent, in color, with a white/light background.
  • 80% face visibility without a mask, including ears.
  • No caps, hats, or dark glasses; spectacles allowed without glare.

Signature Requirements:

  • Black ink on white paper, scanned in running handwriting.
  • Must match the one used during the examination.
  • Capital letters are not permitted.

Educational Certificates:

  • Class 10 document is mandatory for eligibility verification.
  • Class 12 document is required only for candidates who have completed their secondary education.

Category Certificate:

  • Valid certificate issued by competent authorities.
  • Ensure the document clearly mentions the category (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS).

PwD Certificate:

  • For candidates with 40% or more disability.
  • Must specify the nature and percentage of disability.

Domicile Proof:

  • Required for state quota seats.
  • Issued by the appropriate state authority.

Identity Proof:

  • Aadhaar card is preferred, but passport, voter ID, or ration card are acceptable.

Parent/Guardian Signature:

  • If required, scanned in black ink on white paper.
  • Follows the same guidelines as the candidate’s signature.

General Scanning Guidelines:

  • Use at least 200 dpi resolution for clarity.
  • Crop images to focus on relevant content.
  • Verify file size, format, and dimensions before uploading.
