Keep India Smiling Foundation Scholarship Program aims to provide foundational support to individuals, who are deserving & meritorious but may lack resources to pursue their dreams. Along with the financial support, the program will also focus on mentorship and career guidance to the beneficiaries as and when required.

Colgate’s NGO partner, Shikshadaan Foundation has been working towards providing scholarships to underprivileged children along with support in mentoring & communication skills. Our implementation partner, Buddy4Study, is India’s largest AI & technology-enabled scholarship platform. It has so far enabled 65,000 students and has a strong Pan India network for last-mile reach. Detailed Information about various scholarships are given below:

Colgate keeps India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for 3-year Graduation 2022-23

Eligibility

  • Must have passed the Class 12 board examination in 2022
  • Must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 board exams
  • Must be enrolled in a 3-year graduation program in a recognized institution in India
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs

Benefits: INR 30,000 per year for 3 years

Documents

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Valid ID proof – Either an Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/PAN card
  • Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other income certificate issued by competent government authority.
  • Class 12-mark sheet
  • Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/College ID card/Bonafide certificate
  • Disability certificate, in case of any physical disability

Colgate keeps India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for class 11 2022-23

Eligibility

  • Must have passed the Class 10 board examination in 2022
  • Must be enrolled in Class 11 at a recognized school in India
  • Must have scored at least 75% in Class 10 board exams
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs

Benefits: INR 20,000 per annum for 2 years

Documents

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Valid ID proof – Either an Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/PAN card
  • Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other income certificate issued by competent government authority.
  • Class 10-mark sheet

Eligibility

  • Must have passed the Class 12 board examination in 2021
  • Must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 board exams
  • Must be enrolled in a 3-year graduation/diploma program in a recognized institution in India
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs

Benefits: INR 30,000 per year for 3 years

  • Valid ID proof – Either an Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/PAN card

Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for class 11 2021 – 2022

Eligibility

  • Must have passed the Class 10 board examination in 2021
  • Must be enrolled in Class 11 at a recognized school in India
  • Must have scored at least 75% in Class 10 board exams
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs

Benefits: INR 20,000 per annum for 2 years

Keep India Smiling Foundational Scholarship & Mentorship Programme for Engineering Courses 2021-22

Eligibility

  • Must have passed the Class 12 board examination in 2021
  • Must have scored a minimum of 60% in Class 12 board exams
  • Must be enrolled in any recognized undergraduate engineering program in India
  • Annual family income should be less than INR 5 Lakhs

Benefits: INR 30,000 per annum for 4 years

Documents

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Valid ID proof – Either an Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/PAN card
  • Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other certificate of income issued by competent government authority.
  • Class 12-mark sheet
  • Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/College ID card/Bonafide certificate (in case admission for the professional course already taken)
  • Entrance examination result (In case seeking to take admission)
  • Disability certificate, in case of any physical disability

Keep India Smiling Foundational Grant for Individuals Helping Others 2021-22

Eligibility

  • Must be involved in activities like teaching a group of underprivileged children or providing sports training to them
  • Must be from the economically weaker or moderate-income group of society

Benefits

INR 75,000 per year for 2 years

Documents

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Valid ID proof – Either an Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/PAN card
  • Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other certificate of income issued by competent government authority.
  • Disability certificate, in case of any physical disability
  • Name & Registration no. of NGO/Rotary/Association/ Not for profit

Documents Required to Apply for Scholarship

  • Passport-sized photograph
  • Valid ID proof – Either an Aadhaar Card/Driving License/Voter ID card/PAN card
  • Income Proof – Income certificate/BPL certificate/Food security certificate/Any other income certificate issued by competent government authority.
  • 10th Class mark sheet 
  • Latest mark sheet and education certificate
  • Fee Receipt/Admission Letter/College ID card/Bonafide certificate (in case admission for a professional course already taken)
  • Entrance examination result (In case seeking to take admission)
  • Disability certificate, in case of any physical disability
  • Scanned copy of highest performance achieved (If applying for Sports Scholarship)
  • Name & Registration no. of NGO/Rotary/Association/ Not for profit (If applying for general financial support category)

Steps To Register For Scholarship

·   Once you are on the official website, click on the scholarship and then Click on the Apply Now button. 

·   If you are already registered, you can log in using Facebook/Google/Mobile Number or Email-Id, or click the Register Button.

·   A registration form will open. You can register either using Gmail, Facebook, or a mobile number.

·   Provide a valid mobile number and email ID. You must also verify your email ID by clicking on the email you receive to get email notifications.

·   Create a login password and provide details like gender, state, and present class.

·   As you click the “Register” button you will receive an OTP on your registered mobile number. Fill in the OTP and verify it.

·   Once the mobile number is verified, you will be successfully logged in. You can now start filling out the application form.
