Bihar Secondary Teachers Eligibility Test (STET) is conducted by Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) to check the eligibility of candidates as Secondary level teachers (Class 9- 10) and Higher Secondary level teachers (Class 11- 12). The Bihar STET exam has two papers, Paper 1 (Secondary) and Paper 2 (Higher Secondary). You need to clear the written exam to become eligible for teaching posts in various schools under the Bihar Government. Also the exam is conducted to check the eligibility of Physical Education Teachers.

Candidates need to secure minimum qualifying marks to clear the tests. A candidate from the general category needs to secure 50 per cent marks to qualify the exam and candidates from other categories must secure 45 per cent marks to qualify.
