The BSc Nursing Entrance Exam, or NEET is administered by NTA at the national level. There are various colleges, including NEIGRIHMS, BHU, IPU, and others, recognize NEET for admission to the BSc Nursing program. In order to get into Indian Army's Bachelor of Science in Nursing program the candidate has to pass the NEET as a prerequisite. The BSc Nursing Entrance Exam is also administered by a number of states and colleges. Government state nursing colleges accept applications for admission to BSc Nursing programs through state-level entrance exams. Admission to BSc Nursing programs is granted by Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand, West Bengal, and other states based on the results of the state-level entrance exam.
The university-level entrance exam determines admission to prestigious medical schools like AIIMS, CMC, PGIMER, IGNOU, etc. for BSc Nursing programs. In order to be qualified to apply for any BSc Nursing Entrance Exam, you need to have finished your 10+2 with at least 50% of your total points in the Science stream.

GNM refers to Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery. It is a three-year nursing course to facilitate aspirants to become valuable part of health team. GNM Nursing includes subjects like Nursing Fundamentals Anatomy, First Aid, Physiology, Biology, Psychology, etc. and prepares students for general healthcare.
