Banaras Hindu University Law Entrance Test (BLAT) is a law entrance examination held by the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) for admission to law courses. For undergraduate and postgraduate admission, BHU holds two separate exams. UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) is used for undergraduate admission, and PET (Postgraduate Entrance Test) is used for postgraduate admission.

Qualifications |
The minimum eligibility requirement for LLB (Hons) is a BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com/ Shastri (at least 10+2+3 pattern) with at least 50% aggregate marks. Any other degree under the pattern 10+2+3 recognized by the Bar Council of India with a minimum aggregate of 50% considered. |

The Supreme Court has removed the age restriction for BHU Law, so candidates of all ages are eligible to apply. |
Nationality |
Candidates must obtain a Migration Certificate from their previous university in order to meet the eligibility criteria for Indian citizenship. Foreign nationals are eligible if they have 10+2+3 from an equivalent university, a valid foreign passport, and adequate knowledge of English and Hindi for the test. |

The official authorities will make the BLAT 2023 admit card available on the BHU official website. The admit card for the BLAT exam is usually released a week or so before the exam. Registered candidates will be issued admit cards, which they can download using their login credentials.
After downloading the BLAT 2023 admit card, candidates must affix a passport-sized color photograph to the admit card. Candidates must download the admit card and print multiple copies of it, which must be kept until the admission process is completed. Candidates must have completed BA/ B.Sc/ B.Com (at least 10+2+3 pattern) from a recognized college/ university recognized by the Bar Council of India.
CLAT is a national exam, whereas BLAT is a university exam. CLAT is used to provide admission to NLUs, whereas BLAT is used to provide admission to Banaras Hindu University. CLAT scores are accepted by all NLUs and private law schools in India.
The exam is given in offline mode. The duration of the exam is 2 hours i.e. 120 Minutes. General Awareness and Current Affairs, Common Legal Knowledge, Aptitude and Mental Ability, and English/Hindi Comprehension are the four sections of the paper.
Candidates will receive four points for each correct answer and one point for each incorrect answer.
All BLAT 2023 questions will be worth four points. Candidates will receive four points for each correct answer and one point for each incorrect answer. The marking scheme will not take into account unanswered or unattempted questions.
The web-based Blat is set permissively with a minimum cut-off score of 20, displaying the majority of the alignments.
