Beginning in the fourth week of October 2023, counselling for the Bihar Polytechnic will be offered. The candidate's counselling process is announced following the announcement of the results.Those students who performed well on the admission exam and were named on the merit list will be contacted for the counselling session. The call letter for counselling will be provided to them via the internet, and applicants must download it in order to participate in the counselling procedure.

The Bihar Polytechnic 2023 Exam Pattern includes information about the kind of questions, the number of questions, the exam format, the time allotted for the exam, the marking format, and much more. Offline mode will be used to administer the test. The test will last for 2 hours and 15 minutes. There will be 90 questions in the test. Both English and Hindi-language questions will be in the exam's question bank. The exam's question paper will have multiple-choice questions (MCQ). There are 5 marks available for each accurate response, and there is no deducting points for incorrect responses. Students must attempt each question on the question paper since there will be no deducting marks.
