Bharat Electronics Limited, also popularly known as BEL has released its 2024-25 recruitment notification for various positions. Functioning under the Ministry of Defence, the BEL recruitment is also managed by GATE 2024, and the notification regarding the same has been published on the official website. Applications are being accepted online for BEL Trainee Engineer, and other positions.
BEL Recruitment 2024 Notification: The Bharat Electronics Limited (BEL) Homeland Security and Smart City Business, Bengaluru has opened the application for 517 trainee vacancies and 32 job vacancies (among others) in the organization through their official portal. Candidates seeking the positions of Contract Engineer, Apprentice, or Probationary Engineer can fill the online application form.

BEL Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
- Every year, BEL issues notifications mentioning the standard recruitment criteria to hire candidates for BEL trainee engineer and other posts. Here is a list of the detailed BEL eligibility that a candidate needs to focus on:
- The applicant should have a graduate degree in B.E/ B.Tech or a post-graduate degree in M.E/ M.Tech from a recognized university. Or the candidate should have a similar Diploma or I.T.I. degree.
- Applicants must score at least 55% of the total marks in their graduation and/or post-graduation degrees.
- The applicant must possess a valid 10th and 12th mark sheet (or equivalent) from any recognized education board in India.
- The upper age limit for General and EWS Category candidates is 28 years for B.E./ B.Tech., and 30 years for M.E./M.Tech. OBC Candidates have a relaxation of 3 years, and SC/ST Candidates have a relaxation of 5 years.
- PWD Candidates have 10 years of age relaxation in age limit, given that they have a minimum of 40% disability.
BEL Trainee Engineer Salary
BEL Trainee Engineers receive an all-inclusive salary of INR 30,000 per month for the first year of their service, INR 35,000 per month for the second year, and INR 40,000 per month from the third year.
BEL TE Recruitment Process
Applicants need to appear for a written test after successful submission of the application form. If they qualify the written test, they will be called for an interview. Out of the total marks for BEL recruitment, 85% is allocated for the written test and 15% for the interview.
