  • BBA program lasts six semesters: BBA is a 3-year undergraduate course designed to help candidates hone their entrepreneurial skills. This course involves Business-related and general courses in one program.
  • Cost: Depending on the college or university a candidate enrolls in, the cost of a standard BBA degree program could range from INR 25,000 to INR 5 lakh.
  • Qualifications: In order to be admitted to the Bachelor of Business Administration program, applicants must have passed their Class 12 exams from an accredited board and in any stream. Candidates' Class 12 aggregate must have been at least 50%. Some esteemed colleges require at least 60%. For the general category, candidates must be between the ages of 17 and 22, and for the reserved categories, between the ages of 17 and 24.
  • Range in India: The BBA degree offers a wide range of career options in addition to education. One of the few degrees that can lead straight to lucrative jobs in management and administration is this one.
  • 5-year integrated course at IIMs: The five-year integrated curriculum offered by IIM Rohtak and IIM Indore includes both BBA and MBA degrees. Nevertheless, admission to IIMs after Class 12 is obtained through the Integrated Program in Management Aptitude Test (IPMAT), a less common entrance.

Entrance Exams for BBA

Here is a list of the BBA exams offered by India's top universities at both the central and state levels. The minimal prerequisite to sit for these tests is a passing grade on the Class 12 exam. There are distinct cutoff points for every exam -

  • SET B.A. 
    The Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is administered by Symbiosis International University (SIU). The exam is required to be admitted to the university's BBA program. Every campus of the Symbiosis Centre for Management Studies that offers BBA programs is subject to the SET scorecard.
  • CET GGSIPU BBA - The GGSIPU CET exam is administered by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University in order to admit students to its undergraduate programs, which include the BBA (Banking and Insurance) and BBA (Computer-Aided Management). Taken by applicants seeking an undergraduate degree, this admission exam is required.
  • IPMAT - The Indian Institute of Management, Indore (IIM, Indore) offers a five-year integrated BBA+MBA program that requires admission to the common entrance exam, IPMAT. Moreover, Nirma University accepts IPMAT results for admission. To be admitted, you have to pass the Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview (PI) rounds in addition to the entrance exam.
  • DU JAT - The DU JAT is a common entrance exam that is administered across the country to applicants for undergraduate programs at all Delhi University-affiliated universities. For admission to eighteen institutions, Delhi University contracts with the National Testing Agency (NTA) to administer the test. Syllabus for Distance Program in BBA

The distance learning BBA curriculum and subjects comprises of six semesters. The curriculum covers a wide range of topics, including project management, IT skills, organizational behavior, business environment, quantitative techniques in business, research process, and internships.
