BARC OCES Syllabus 2024

The BARC OCES recruitment syllabus is predominantly meant for the roles of Technical Officer, Scientific Assistant, Technician Boiler Attendant, and Stipendiary Trainee (Category I & II). Students having Science and Engineering as background are eligible for BARC Recruitment.

BARC Eligibility 2024

  1. Candidates should have a graduate degree/ post-graduate degree in Engineering or Science disciplines, such as B.Sc/ M.Sc./ Integrated B.Sc.
  2. Candidates should have passed their latest degree with at least 60% aggregate marks to qualify for BARC.
  3. General category candidates should not be between 21 - 26 years old. OBC candidates have a 3 year age relaxation (29 years), and SC/ST candidates have a 5-year age relaxation (31 years).
  4. PWD candidates have a 10 years age relaxation for BARC application.
  5. Candidates should be a citizen of India.

BARC Application Fee

  • General/ OBC candidates- INR 500
  • SC/ST/ PWD: exempted

The BARC application fee is non-refundable. Candidates need to pay the application fees at the time of submitting the application online. This is a one-time fee that they have to pay for the BARC Recruitment process.
