The Andhra University Common Entrance Test (AUCET) is a state-level entrance exam administered by the Andhra University in Visakhapatnam. AUCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria

The following are the AUCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria as issued by the Directorate of Admission Andhra University:

Nationality and Domicile

  • Candidates must be Indian citizens.
  • Candidate must be a resident of Andhra Pradesh and have a valid proof of residency in the state as amended in the Andhra Pradesh State, Educational Institutions 1974.

Educational Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 50% marks in 10+2 from a recognized board equivalent to Andhra University (45% for reserved categories).
  • Only candidates who have taken/will take their final year examination in 2024 are eligible.

Age Limit

  • There is no upper age limit for taking AUCET 2024.
  • The maximum age to apply for a fee reimbursement for reserved classes (SC/ST) is 34, and the maximum age for EBC/Minorities/Disabled candidates is 30.
