AP PGECET 2023: Latest Notifications
AP PGECET, or Andhra Pradesh Post Graduate Engineering Common Engineering Entrance Test, is an online test administered on behalf of APCHE by Andhra University, Visakhapatnam to select the most qualified candidates for various courses such as M.E./MTech, M. Pharma, and Pharm. D.
The exam authorities conduct online counselling for AP PGECET 2023 and GATE/ GPAT qualified candidates on the official website. Candidates who pass the AP PGECET 2023 exam are eligible for the counselling process. The candidates' marks in the qualifying exam are used to determine AP PGECET 2023 seat allocation.

Counseling for the AP PGECET 2023 begins with certificate verification at the designated Help Center. Andhra University is in charge of allocating the centers. The procedures to be followed in order to complete the AP PGECET counseling are listed below.
The first step before beginning the counselling process is to have all of the certificates verified. A proper session will be held for this. It all begins with registration, after which they will be assigned a session with specific times and locations.

Step 1: Go to the official website - appgecet.nic.in
Step 2: Navigate to the online counselling fee payment link.
Step 3: Enter your hall ticket number and rank from GATE, GPAT, or AP PGECET 2022.
Step 4: Select the "pay fee online" option. The counseling fee will be paid online via credit card, debit card, or net banking.
Step 5: Choose a payment method (credit card/debit card/net banking) and enter your credentials.
Step 6: After the transaction has been completed successfully, write down the transaction ID.
Step 7: Participate in the certificate verification procedure.

The following is a detailed procedure for completing AP PGECET 2023 Counselling:
Candidates must create a login ID and password by entering their registration number, hall ticket number, and date of birth. After logging in, an OTP will be sent to the candidates' registered mobile number, allowing them to fill out their preferred college/institute and courses.
On completing the priority list, click on the "Save" button and enter the password sent through the SMS and click "Confirm". The entire data set will be sent to the server for processing, and the final list will be printed. The registered option will be automatically frozen on the specified last date and used for seat allocation. It is important to print the list and double-check it.
The final step will be the AP PGECET seat allocation procedure. The exam administrators will assign seats to candidates based on merit, availability of seats, and preferred filled choices. Candidates must print the AP PGECET seat allotment letter and report using a self-reporting system. They will also be required to report to the designated colleges/institutions, failing which seats will be cancelled.

Step 2: Review the notification titled 'AP PGECET Allotment Order 2023'.
Step 3: Enter the ICR Code, Hall Ticket Number, and Date of Birth.
Step 4: The Allotment Letter will appear on the screen.
Step 5: Download and save it for later use.

A separate AP PGECET counselling is organized by the exam authorities for GATE & GPAT and AP PGECET qualified candidates.
The AP PGECET counselling fee is Rs 300/-.

Fee payment, reporting at the centers, document verification, choice filling, and other steps are part of the AP PGECET 2023 counselling process. The shortlisted candidates will be assigned seats for the AP PGECET 2023 based on merit, seat availability, and choice filling.
Chemical Sciences received the most applications (9,899 applicants), followed by Life Sciences (5,960 applicants). The AP PGCET will not include tests in Sanskrit, Urdu, Tamil, BAFA, Performing Arts and Music Arts, Tourism, and Geography.

There is only one mode of admission for all PG course students. Counseling is only available online through the Single Window System.
The minimum qualifying marks for APPGCET ranking shall be 35% of the maximum marks. However, there will be no minimum qualifying marks for candidates from Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes to be ranked.
