What is AP EDCET 2023?

Andhra University, Visakhapatnam, on behalf of the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE), conducts the Andhra Pradesh Education Common Entrance Test (APEdCET) to offer admission to two-year B.Ed regular programmes. APEd CET scores are used to gain admission to Andhra Pradesh's University/Government/Aided/Un-aided/Private Colleges of Education.

Aspirants meet the APEdCET 2023 eligibility criteria if they meet the following criteria:

Nationality and location

  • Are Indian nationals who meet the requirements for Local/Non-Local status as stated in the Andhra Pradesh Educational Institutions (Regulation of Admission) Order 1974, as amended?

Qualifications in Education

  • At the time of APEdCET 2023 application form submission, candidates must have passed/appeared in their final year examination for BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BCA/ BBM.
  • Aspirants should have obtained at least 50% marks in either their bachelor's degree (BA/ BSc/ BSc (Home Science)/ BCom/ BCA/ BBM) or their master's degree in the relevant subject, a five-year integrated course in the relevant subject, or any other equivalent qualification. Candidates from reserved categories, namely SC, ST, BC, and physically handicapped, are eligible to apply for the exam if they received at least 40% in the qualifying examination.

AP EDCET 2023 Admission Process

The following steps are involved in the APEdCET exam admission process:

AP EDCET 2023 Application Form

  • Candidates must complete the AP EDCET 2023 application form on the entrance test's official website. Aspirants do not need to upload any certificates or documents with the application form. Candidates can pay the INR 600 application fee for APEDCET 2023 via AP Online/debit card/credit card/net banking.

  • Candidates can obtain their AP EDCET 2023 admit card from the exam's official website. The AP EDCET admit card includes the aspirant's name, roll number, and test center information.

AP EDCET 2023 Result

  • Aspirants can view the APEdCET 2023 result on the exam's official website. Aspirants must enter their hall ticket and registration number on the official exam website to view their AP EDCET results. Candidates can download their rank card from the official website once the APEdCET 2023 results are announced. The AP EDCET score is valid for one year.
