As per new norms, the AP EAMCET Marks will carry 75% weightage, and Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) Marks will carry only 25% weightage. However, only group subject marks of IPE i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Botany/Zoology are considered for preparing the ranks, along with the marks scored in the practical exams. Check the table below for a better understanding.
Name of Student | IPE Marks (1st & 2nd Year Group subjects) out of 600 | AP EAMCET Score out of 160 | Combined Score out of 100 |
Student A | 520 | 145 | IPE - 520/600x25 = 21.66 AP EAMCET - 145/160x75 = 67.96 Combined Score - 21.66 + 67.96 = 89.62 |
Student B | 420 | 120 | IPE - 145/600x25 = 16.66 AP EAMCET - 120/160x75 = 56.25 Combined Score - 16.66 + 56.25 = 72.91 |
