JIPMER is an entrance examination conducted by Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate and Medical Research, Puducherry for admissions to various Post Graduate and Under Graduate courses Medical and Paramedical courses offered by the JIPMER Institutes. The candidates aspiring to seek admission to Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in Jawaharlal Institutes of Postgraduate and Medical Research (JIPMER) must appear for JIPMER 2018 which is scheduled to be conducted onJune 3, 2018.

Here are the Facts about JIPMER 2018:

  1. JIPMER and AIIMS conduct their separate entrance examination and does not accept NEET examination.
  2. Seats:

    The JIPMER 2018 provides 200 Under Graduate admissions in JIPMER Puducherry and JIPMER Karaikal.
  3. Periodicity:

    The examination is conducted annually.
  4. Scope:

    JIPMER is a National-level Medical Entrance Examination.
  5. Education Qualification:

    The candidate aspiring to appear for JIPMER 2018 must have passed Class 12th from a recognized board with Biology/ Biotechnology, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% marks. A relaxation of 5% will be provided to PWD Candidates whereas the same of 10% will be provided to the candidates of Reserved Category. Read more about JIPMER Eligibility.
  6. Age Limit:

    The age of the candidate should not be less than 17 years.

  9. Mode of Payment:

    The Online Registration Fees can be paid through Online Modes such as Debit Card, Credit, and Net Banking.
  10. Exam Centres:

    JIPMER 2018 will be conducted in 120 cities. Earlier the examination was conducted in 75 cities.
  11. Documents to be carried to Examination Centre:

    The candidate must carry JIPMER 2018 Admit Card along with an ID Card approved by the Government of India.
