AKTU Counselling 2022 Overview

AKTU Counselling 2022 has started from the 6th of October 2022. The UPSEE counselling is conducted by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University, Uttar Pradesh. Furthermore, qualifying applicants will be allowed to participate in UPSEE Counselling 2022. The authorities conduct the counseling in an online mode. Admission in different courses is done through different examinations, i.e., to get into B.Tech courses, the candidate has to qualify JEE Main, and to get admission into the course of B.Arch, one needs to qualify NATA. The AKTU Counselling cost is Rs 1000/-. The counseling fee will be adjusted further at the time of admission.

The complete procedure of UPSEE Counselling will be conducted in 5 stages- Online Registration, Document Verification, Online Choice Filling, Seat Allotment, and Reporting. However, if the seats remain vacant even after these five steps, then spot counselling will be conducted.

AKTU Counselling 2022

The counseling for the Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination is conducted by Abdul Kalam Technical University. The candidates who qualify for this examination shall be called in for the online counselling of AKTU. B.Tech and B.Arch programs require one qualifying JEE Main and one qualifying NATA.

Steps for UPSEE Counselling Process

The candidates who qualified for the examination and were called for the counseling will have to follow certain steps to successfully complete the UPSEE Counselling 2022-

Online Registration

The registration process will start on the 31st of August 2022. The candidates will have to register themselves on the official website so as to attend the UPSEE Counselling. The process of registration will include entering the application number and password. Furthermore, after the applicant is done with the procedure, he/ she will have to pay a fee through online mode (credit card/ debit card/ net banking).

Document Verification

After the candidate has been registered, he/ she will be required to upload the documents. One must make sure that the size of the document is as per the specified one, ie, 200 KB. The authorities will be conducting the document verification online.

Online Choice Filling

After successfully completing the registration and document upload stages, the applicant will be brought to the 'Choice Filling and Locking' page. During this process, the candidates will be able to select the colleges and courses as per their choices. However, one should make sure that the college and course selection are done within a framed time period and that the choices will be locked as per the choices of the candidate after some time.

Seat Allotment

The results of seat allocation will be available on the official website. The candidates shall be able to check the same after putting in their "Application number' and "Password." After that, they will be able to download the seat allotment letter. The authorities will be allotting the seats on the basis of the merit list, seat availability, etc. Furthermore, the candidate will not be able to change his/ her branch/ institute.

Reporting to the Allotted Institute

The applicants who submitted their willingness to freeze or float will be required to pay the confirmation fee. It is mandatory for one to pay the fee within the date as mentioned in the schedule. For if one fails to do so, then he/ she will not be able to possess any seat. After the payment of the fee, the applicant will be issued a provisional seat allotment letter that will entail all the details of the institute allotted along with all the instructions.

After the completion of the abovementioned procedure, the applicant will have to report to the allotted institute on the specified date and time. Furthermore, if the candidate fails to show up, then his/ her admission will be automatically canceled and given to the next candidate.

AKTU Counselling: UPSEE Cut Off

The admission in the course of B.Tech and B.Arch through UPSEE is done on the basis of cut off. The higher authorities structure the cut off of AKTU on the basis of several factors that are based on JEE Main and the institutes where the seats shall be allocated. Furthermore, the cut off will vary from institute to institute. The AKTU Cut Off will be built on the basis of the opening and closing ranks.

The candidates will have to bring their documents for verification. However, one should ensure that they have all the specified documents, and that too of the size as per mentioned by the authority. The documents that one will need for the verification can be found below-

AKTU Counselling: Admission Procedure

The UPSEE Admission Procedure involves a plethora of steps that need to be followed by the candidate so as to get admitted successfully into the institute. The following are the procedure to be followed- 

1. First of all, one has to get himself/ herself registered for the counseling. 
2. After the registration process is successfully completed, the candidate needs to upload his/ her documents for the document verification process. 
3. After the documents are verified, the candidate will be taken to the choice filling window. There, he/ she will be able to choose the college and course as per his/ her preference.
4. This process will lead one to the next step, which is the seat allotment. 
5. The candidate will be able to complete this step after filling in the registration number and password. 
6. The seat allotment results will be available on the official website. 
7. The institute shall allot the seats on the basis of various factors, ie, merit list, seat availability, etc.
8. After this, the final step will take place, and that is "reporting to the allocated institute'.
9. The candidate needs to be present at the assigned institute on the specified date and time. One will have to be available. 
10. If one fails to be present, then his/ her candidature will be cancelled.
11. After the candidate successfully completes all the steps, he/ she will be able to take admission to the institute he/ she opted for during the counselling.
