The ACT Exam is a standardized test that evaluates your readiness for college and takes your results into account when deciding who to admit. This is one of the criteria used to determine whether you are eligible to be admitted to a college or university. English, Math, Reading, Science, and an optional Writing (essay) section make up the five sections of the ACT exam.

The ACT registration process and dates are the same for all non-US nations. You will be able to finish your ACT registration and reserve the appropriate test date before the deadline once you create your MyACT account. To secure the preferred slot and test location, you must complete the ACT registration process as soon as possible. Additionally, scheduling the ACT test date at least two months before the deadline for college applications is advised.

The ACT exam is scored on a 1 to 36 point scale for each section (English, Math, Reading, and Science). The composite score is the sum of the results from all four tests. Students who take the optional writing test will receive a writing score ranging from 1 to 36. The writing score has no bearing on the overall score.

ACT Exam Scores are Valid for Five Years - The ACT test total scores are valid for five years after the testing year in which you took the test.
The results of the ACT test are usually available online within two weeks of the test date, but it can take up to eight weeks in some cases. The results of the writing section are available two weeks after the results of the multiple-choice sections. Students who have taken the writing test are unable to send their other remaining scores to prospective universities unless they have taken the writing test. To know more about ACT Score click here.

Each ACT test date has a registration deadline about five weeks before it. Registration materials are available from your school counselor, or you can register online at the ACT website.
The ACT, SAT, or both are taken by the majority of high school students in the spring of their junior year or the fall of their senior year. Allow enough time to retake the test if you need to improve your score before applying to college. Every year, the ACT exam is given in September, October, December, February*, April, June, and July*.
Candidates are not permitted to skip the sections between the ACT.
Bring the following to the testing center: 1. A valid photo ID 2. 2 pencils (sharpened) with erasers 3. A calculator
The ACT exam lasts 2 hours and 55 minutes. Add 30 minutes if you include the optional writing section. After adding the writing section, the total time for the ACT is 3 hours and 25 minutes.
