PSTET Recent Updates: Today, March 12, 2023, the Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will hold the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET 2023 Exam). The Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET) is conducted through the State Council of Educational Research & Training, Punjab, to offer the job of teachers in the state of Punjab. Those applicants want to become teachers in primary (class I -V) and upper primary (VI-VIII) schools in Punjab. The PSTET Exam will be held on 31st December 2022. The PSTET 2022 Admit Card will be issued a few days before the exam.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) administers the Punjab State Teacher Eligibility Test (PSTET), a state-level test, to establish candidates' qualifications to teach at the Primary and Upper Primary levels in Punjabi schools. The Paper 1 and Paper 2 portions of the PSTET test are administered in two shifts:

Punjab TET Age Limit Eligibility: Paper 1 & Paper 2
Candidates for the PS TET Exam 2023 must be at least 18 years old. The PSTET exam has no upper age restriction. Candidates who have the necessary educational requirements may apply for the Exam.

Candidates must follow the National Council for Teacher Education's norms and regulations (NCTE). To apply for the Punjab State TET Application form, they must have a Higher Secondary diploma with at least 50% marks and a 2-year diploma in education. |
PSTET Paper 2 Eligibility for Upper Primary classes: Class 6th to 8th |
Secondary teachers (grades 6–8) must adhere to severe norms and regulations established by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Upper Primary Teachers must have a Higher Secondary diploma with a minimum of 50% marks and a four-year Bachelor's degree. |

The Punjab School Education Board specifies the PSTET format and publishes it on the webpage. Two papers will be included in the PSTET 2023 exam: Paper I for grades I through V and Paper II for courses VI through VIII.

After the exam is successfully completed, the PSTET Result is released. The list of candidates who passed the PSTET Exam is included in the results. On April 3, 2023, the PSTET 2021 Exam results were released while the date for PSTET Results in 2023 has not yet been announced. After a few days following the exam, the PSTET Exam results are made public. By submitting their information, including their roll number and date of birth, candidates may verify their results. The PSTET Results determine which candidates are chosen for various positions in PSTET Recruitment.

A genuine PTET Certificate will be given to applicants who made the PSTET Exam merit list. Applicants can apply for teaching positions in Punjabi government schools with a PS TET qualification. The PSTET Salary Structure varies according to the position sought. While the starting salary for PSTET-certified teachers ranges from INR 10,300 to 34,800. About INR 5,40,000 will be the PSTET Annual Salary.
